Cats (in space)! A good handful of us play Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous, No Man's Sky, often on stream. Come hang out sometime!

New and want to check things out?
- Check for a Free Flight to be able to try the game without buying in. Use somebody's referral when registering! Some free flight events have special referral bonuses
- Understand you do not need to buy anything beyond the Starter Pack at $45. Everything save for niche cases and the newest releases are available to earn ingame, and many players have larger multi-crew ships for you to join them on already. Once you know more about what you want to do ingame, there are ways to upgrade to other ships, or turn your whole game pack into store credit to grab a fancier bundle.

For those looking to get into joysticks, particularly for space games, my first recommendation is to avoid getting a throttle setup (HOTAS), and instead do dual sticks (HOSAS). A great starting point to look into is two thrustmaster T16000m sticks, or one T16000m for your left hand (as the grip is ambidextrous), and a more fully featured/ergonomic stick for your right.

A middle-ground I use is HOSAS, but your offhand stick is adjusted into a throttle position (in my case, using a bracket, but some 'omni-throttle' sticks exist prebuilt this way), allowing for full 6DOF controls while handling more like a traditional throttle.

some things here may be unrelated
